Founder

Started a 501(c)(3) in 2010 to benefit the environment and underserved children by recycling and selling old electronics and using the money collected to help children in foster care and orphanages; raised over $60,000 to date by recycling used electronics, selling gift cards to businesses, securing corporate sponsors, working a food booth at Baltimore Ravens games, and soliciting private donations; delivered gifts, toys, books, and other wish-list items to over 300 Baltimore-area children; expanded to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio and delivered items to children in Afghanistan and Greece as well; www.okaytoplay.org

In response to COVID-19, Okay To Play has already given over 3,000 reusable kids masks.

As Fall Fest Coordinator (11) planned and executed the biggest annual junior class fundraiser, recruited members, set up committees and advertising, solicited vendors, and managed a silent auction that raised record funding in school's history; as Class Service League Representative (10) galvanized class to plan events and fundraisers for battered women/child abuse centers; as Class Forum Representative (9) attended weekly meetings with school administration and faculty to represent peers.
